The story
Twenty years in the trade. Thirteen in tech.
GridLogic Electric was founded by Greg Juanarena, a Virginia Master Electrician with more than 20 years of hands-on electrical experience across residential service, remodels, and new construction. GridLogic holds a Virginia Class A contractor license and works throughout Midlothian, Chesterfield, Richmond, and the surrounding counties.
Alongside the trade, Greg spent 13 years as a founding team member at a Richmond-area software company, staying through its acquisition. That background — systems, data, and building something that scales — is why GridLogic approaches electrical work the way it does: measure the load, design for what’s coming, and leave the customer with something they understand.
Why that matters
Full houses on the same 200 amp service.
Homes today are bigger and carry far more load than the services they were built with. Heat pumps, induction ranges, hot tubs, shops, and EV charging all land on a 200 amp service that was sized for a much lighter house. The result is a panel that’s full before the project even starts.
A full service upgrade is sometimes the right answer. Often it isn’t. A smart panel can manage load at the circuit level, free up capacity you already have, and add charging or backup without tearing out the service — for a fraction of the cost and disruption. Knowing which path your house actually needs is the whole job, and it’s the part most contractors skip.
